Physical Activity
At my school, my students are given a 15-minute recess each day. For one week a month, my class has physical education for a 40 minute period. It seems to me that testing pressures and schedules that are jammed packed with content that requires students to stay in their seats takes priority over physical activity. I wanted to investigate research that explained the positive outcomes on education with increased physical activity.
